As a part of the meeting there
will be two sight seeing tours:
The Old City of Ad’Diriyah:
Ad’ Diriyah lies 20 Km North
West of Riyadh center ( about 5 Km from KACST),
now joined with Riyadh due to the city
expansion. It lies on the banks of Wadi Hanifah,
and it hosts many historical landmarks.
The National Museum:
The museum occupies an area of
seventeen thousand meters on the eastern side of
King Abdul Aziz Historic Center, however the
total area of its two-storey building is twenty
eight thousand sq. meters. The museum offers a
modern educational environment for different
community strata and different levels of
education. Displayed items are diversified to
include antiques, documents, manuscripts,
display board, in addition to the use of modern
aids and documentaries.
